Question out there to the ALL-wise ones here on Utah Reef.

I have a great Aqualight Pro light set up that has been amazing and well worth the money.  Out of no where, the compact fluorescents both went out.  Now... the Halide and Lunar lights seem to work perfect so if anyone has any clue what went wrong here that would be SO helpful.  Bad timing for sure because I am leaving tomorrow to surf Costa Rica for two weeks. 

Open to ideas... I swapped out the bulbs just to be sure it was not a fluke.  Changed outlets and took off the timer to be sure.  (thought it was the timer at first, but nope)

I pulled the light set up apart to have a look before I took the pictures inserted.

How new is the unit?  I've seen CF ballast go bad on DIY setup but I don't have any experiences with Coralife gear.

Two years...  Is the CF ballast the main for Halide?  Or is there another just for fluorescents?
