 Topic: Reef Tour 2009 Sign Up!

The Reef Tour is basically one day where our club members stay home and let people see their aquariums.
It is on Saturday, October 10th, from 10am to 5pm.
All we want is for people to stay home and to show off their tanks.
The Presidency members do their best to advertise the event (l ocal media and pet stores). We get a couple hundred people who will spend the day driving around from house to house checking out the aquariums.
This is a great outreach opportunity where we introduce ourselves to
many new faces and show off the hard work we put into tank.
DEADLINE FOR SIGN UP WILL BE September 15th!
We want to have flyers and the packet ready for October's Meeting.
Also for every house that signs up, you get (1) Super Reef Pass or (2) General Admission Pass to the Mountain West Reef Fest for FREE.

Dang - I was going to pass this year and go see everyone's tanks, but the free offer has changed my (cheap $) mind.

Yes, in the past we've tried to do things to reward those club members who stay home. This year the club is forking out the money to buy reef fest tickets... which sounds like a dang good payoff if you ask me.

Yes, it is a super cost to the club.... but worth it to make a succesful reef tour. I don't think we'll have trouble with people coming to see tanks.
