I currently use the gel super glue, but I have been able to find it on eBay for pretty cheap.  I bought 20 - 3 packs for $25 about 2 months back.  Im still not sure of what the best glue/epoxy solution is.

I bought some IC-Gel from Dave at ReefKingdom and it worked really well for the couple things I've used it on.  It dried really fast and nothing I've attached has even hinted at coming off.  As for cost, I'm not sure where it ranks.  It was a larger tube (compared to a typical super glue tube) and I paid $6, iirc.

Dave says it sets faster than superglue.  I have no reference.

X2 on the IC Gel...

It's 7oz for $8, goes a lot further than the standard .07oz $3 Super glue gels...

Does this super glue work as well as some from Home Depot?
Here is what a customer said while on hold Oh my gosh! Did you open the door? I told you not to open the door. Dre is in here completely naked and he's got freak'n Macaroni and Cheese in his hands.

I switched to the 'Loc-Tite' stuff and have been happy with it

I have both the gel and the regular

The gel is easier to apply but the regular sets faster
