So, I know that there are a million different ways to set up a Nano Cube's chambers, and I have been reading many different ways to do this.  I decided to play around with mine, and show you what I have done, and what I am trying to do.
I have read about people not putting anything in there, and I know that is not a bad idea.  I figured with all of the different ways to do this, would it "hurt" to use a little bit of everything.ÂÂ
Now I know that I will get some criticism for how I did this, but that is fine by me.  I am pretty new at this, and would love to learn from everyone on how I might be able to improve what I have.  SO HERE GOES:
This is a picture of my middle chamber.  I decided to fill the bottom with about 5 to 6 inches of "live rock rubble". I then put some egg crate on the sides that will support the "shelf" that I made (keep reading for pictures).

ÂÂ
I then build this little shelf to separate the Chaeto from the Live Rock.  I know that it is not really necessary, but I kind of wanted to be able to pull this whole shelf out if needed, and not leave any little bits of Chaeto floating around. I also did this so that it would keep the Chaeto from going into the third chamber and into the pump, causing it to clog:

ÂÂ
This then fits into the second chamber and on top of the egg crate "holders" like this:
The middle chamber became a refugium, which I know that some people think that it does not benefit seeing as it is so small.  But I figured that it would at least help a little bit.
I then took the carbon sponge out of the first chamber and cut it into two pieces so that one is about 3 inches and the other is about 8 or 9 inches.  I put about 3 inches of more live rock rubble in the first chamber and put the sponge on top of the rubble.  (I know that this can be a nitrate factory, but I am pretty good about rinsing it out.)  I also put my heater in the first chamber:

ÂÂ
I used an LED light for the fuge.  It is a "mini sun pod" or something.  I worry that it might not be enough light, but I hope it will be enough to grow the cheato.  This light has a flexible arm and sits right over the middle chamber:

ÂÂ
Then in the third chamber, this is where i put the rest of the stuff.  I have my pump in the bottom, the 3 inch carbon sponge on top of that, a bag of carbon and phosphate remover on top of the sponge, and a biocube skimmer in there too.  Like I said, this is where it might be overkill:

 ÂÂ
I want to move the skimmer to the first chamber.  I saw a mod where they extend the skimmer tube so that it picks up more "crap".  I also want to fix a shelf in the third chamber (like Ryan Thompson's) so that it will separate the filters from the pump.  I originally put the bag of carbon in the third chamber, but when i looked down, the bag had situated itself so that the water was not even passing through the bag and just going strait to the pump.  Here is the whole set up:
I also have a Koralia Nano as you can see.  It is on the opposite side of where the pump return comes out. ÂÂ
So there you have it.  I want to make a few changes, but I am open to your thoughts and feedback.
