Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good RO unit that is on the cheaper side.  I need 40 gallons of RO water a week, so a smaller unit would be fine.  Any recommendations would be great~  Thanks

Any of the cheaper ebay units (water general etc) work fine.  http://www.melevsreef.com/ro_di.html is another good source for higher quality units.
Don't skimp too much, one of the best investments you can make IMO

I second melevsreef.com.  that's where I got my DO/DI unit and I love it.

I have always had excellent luck working with both Air, Water, and Ice at airwaterice.com as well as with the Filter Guys at thefilterguys.biz

Marc is an excellent source as well, plus he is a big contributor to reef clubs everywhere.

This is where I got mine, see if you can get someone else to go in on another with you because their shipping is a flat rate whether you buy 2 units or 4 units. Also these guys have great holding tanks....I am often complimented on how good out water tastes....so branch this unit before the DI, and send it up to the sink or fridge.....
