If my Condy Anemone

dies, will it harm anything in my tank?  I have had it for just a few days now and it has stayed where I put it, so it must like it there.  However, a few of the tentacles (the very tip, purple part) have fallen off or something.  They could be suck in or something... Some of them look as though you put a rubber band around the tip, squeezing the ends.  This is only on a few of the tentacles.  In general, it looks really pretty.

You will want to add some activated carbon. That is what I did when mine died in my 65. It was behind some rocks so that I couldn't get to it. to get the body out.
