I happened upon this when searching the internet. SOOO INTERESTING!!! and if i might add. I'm super jealous. Check out the post about fire coral? anyone ever heard of it. I've hheard of fireworms. and have been stuck by them !!! i still have holes on my hand from it when i got stung if you will a month ago. never heals it seems like

I think bruce with ewaldsreef had a fire coral. I remember him telling me one of his coral stung like crazy.

Yes Bruce had a Firecoral that was pretty good size. I don't find them very attractive.

Yeah thats why I never got one. It always looked like it was about to die and was not colorful at all. Compared to the other things he had I made an easy choice and got more colorful corals

When I was 16 we went on a diving trip over to the Bahama Islands. While I was using my Hawai sling, I stuck a big fat grouper, this pig dragged me through a patch of fire coral. Was only about 3 seconds of break neck speed before I was able to level out above the mess. It left welts all over my face and scars on my upper left body for more then 6 months. real nice to look at under water, just don't touch the stuff.
