waterfall and stream

Go buy the clay that bake in the over that you can get at the craft store (make sure it's water proof after firing).  I had a friend do this for a frog tank and it worked really well (he based his idea on a fountain that I built out of "real" clay, but that requires a kiln to fire it...)  Build the fountain and the river and what not, and then bake it.  Once it's done, just silicone it in place... shouldn't be too hard to do, and if you get a nice tan or gray color, it should look pretty good.

Cool!!!!  that was a cool idea using the pea gravel.  I have decided to do something similar and section off a portion of the tank and fill it up with water so the water fall which is made of bark will fit.  It is too big for the little bowl I have now.  Quite possibly I will place another power head and make a stream flowing into the pond. I think I will use this idea of affixing some rocks, possibly pea gravel to the edge similar to this so that the dart frog(s) will have easy exit and hopefully will be a favorite spot for them!
