Has anyone heard of this animal?  (Sea Finn Anemone) If so, what is it's scientific name?

I do not have picture of it because I cannot find any reference to it on the INTERNET.

I saw one today at Ocean World (New LFS on 114th and 7th east run by Dave Pettersen.  That is what he called it!

I wanted one, however, I wanted to do some research before I took it home.

Hi - I have one that I got at Aquatica - the "real" name is sea pen. There is info about them on the internet. I love mine although they move until they are happy and mine is happy in a spot that I wished he wasntConfused!! They need a deep sand bed, they are filter feeders and dont require a lot of light and that is all I know about them...

I have only had him for a couple of weeks but he definately seems happy. He is alot bigger here than he was at the pet store but I dont think that is growth - just a change in environment. He has decided to live in a cave - much to the unhappiness of my Sailfin ( it was his). But he is out and pretty during the day - hides at night. Smile From what I understand you have to be careful when putting them into the tank there is a harder part in the middle that can puncture through them. I just buried his "foot" and he re-buried where he wanted to (on the other side of the tank)!
