I have a 29 gal tank. Would like to get another fish but don't know what would be a great fit for my reef tank. The fish I have are 2 clown fish, 1 Yellow tail damsel, 1 fire fish, and a scooter Bellini. I would like to add 1 or maybe 2 fish (if small). Any suggestions would be great.

I would suggest an herbivore of some sort. Maybe a blenny such as a lawnmower.

I don't know why, but I don't think any tank is complete without a yellow tang.

29 gallon is on the small side for a tang also the smaller space a fish is in the more aggressive it can become. I don't think the firefish would survive an aggressive tang.
I really like Rainford gobbies 
I still think an herbivore would be beneficial to the tank.

I know, can't help it though. I've heard of people buying the little ones and trading them off when they get bigger, replacing it with another little one.

A yellow tang would dominate the tank. A blenny would be aggressive toward the firefish. How about an assessor? (well, they are expensive locally and hard to find) I think the 29g is too small for most herbivores- best to add some invert herbivores to make up the difference. Maybe a royal gramma?

I've not had any aggression problems with lawnmower type blennies & firefish. Midas Blennies & Firefish don't get along though. A tailspot blenny would be a good small herbivore blenny. They are tough to find locally though.

I think a rainford gobie would be great. Do you think I have room for a blenny (tailspot or Bi-color)? I have the 4 fish now. Don't want anything big, or that will get big. I have seen some jawfish but don't know if it would be compatible. Thanks for all the suggestions.

Rainford Goby is an excellent choice. I think a tailspot would be good as they don't get very big and are very peaceful. Bicolor Blennies get bigger and are more aggressive, a small tank will exacerbate this. Click the blue button on the left of the screen for Sea Star Online and read about Jawfish in the February 2007 issue. One may work in your tank.

Picked up a Rainford Goby last night at Aquatica. Seems to be doing well, it is hiding in the rocks but I"m sure it will move around more when it settles in. I would like to see a tailspot it anyone sees one in a LFS let me know.
