Has or does anyone still use the screw in power compact spiral floodlight  that was discussed about a year ago ? the 51k is supposed to be special order..... Are these still around ?

if you are talking about the bulb that you can get at home depot for like 8 bucks then yes i use 2 of them. i love them! they grow chaeto quite well IMO.

I have them on both my sumps.  Home Depot should have them.  They are made by Commercial Electric.

I used some 45-watt units (45 ACTUAL watts) from lights of america, but they went fizzz-BANG! with regularity, so I gave up on them.  Granted, Lights of America is a pretty cheap, low-quality brand, others may hold up better.  Definitely keep salt spray out of them.
