well I guess she isnt that new. I have had her for almost 2 and a half
weeks. She eats like a pig. I was scared for getting her so I had the
employees show me that she would eat. she pecked a little at the mysis.
So I got a ton of it. I feed her mysis and flake. about five days ago she
started chasing the flake food and eating it now she will eat almost
anything. I am so glad. This is prob one of the most beautiful fish I have
ever seen. I'm pretty lucky I got one that eats like pig.

OH yea and she happens to eat anemones. so she completly took out all
my aptasia. Personally I would rather have this than a copper band

That is one gorgeous Pinnatus batfish Josh.  Did you buy it from the Aquarium? since I saw one healthy specimen about a month ago maybe.  It is hard to keep because it is such a poor shipper.  Congrats 


I read though that it can get real big and becomes duller as it matures.  Enjoy the juvenile phase for now though.  May it never become an adult .

I did get her from the Aquarium. I asked to watch her eat and she did so I
took a chance and I am glad I did. I am just amazed she is already eating
flake.

Very nice Josh. I almost bought one from Marine World a month ago. It was black with the glowing red edges. After seeing your awsome fish, I regret letting that one go

If you do find another one ask the pet store and watch it eat. Most that
come in dont eat very well.

Ive always wanted one of these. I was under the impression that they were not reef safe. Are they?? I have 9 anemones so I guess Ill have to pass. What a great find..... 
I have flying monkeys and I'm not afraid to use them.

I have been watching my zoos and things and I have not noticed any
nipping. I think they are kind of like the morish idols they only nip if they
are not eating and are starving but then again I dont know because she
did clear out any visible aptasia.
