We are actively working on our display 120 reef tank, and feel like the end result should look great! So far we have fabricated our tank stand, and put together a 40-gal breeder for the sump. Attached are some pictures of what we have. As you can see, we are all set for a good sanding and primer, then paint. Let us know what you guys think! Young and Fat

Are you concerned at all of how the thermostat being that close to the tank will effect it? Heat from lights, humidity from the water, corrosion from the salt? I love the detail on the legs.

Thanks Nikki! And it's not really competition if it's a by-product of your knowledge and expertise that got us to this point. Not to mention that the whole plan was thought up by su esposa. We are hoping to fill with sand and water by the end of the weekend!

Thanks for the support and words of encouragement! We can't wait to get this thing cycling. So far, tonight, we have placed the base rock to build off of once we start making the transfer from the 55. Pictures below: Also, the sump has been placed in the "fish room" behind the main tank. Fat is currently working on the final plumbing.
