Glad to see everyone else thought the same thing I did.  It sucks to lose, but it's nice to see someone win that REALLY appreciates it...hehe. The way he was dancing around, I'd say Fate knew he wanted it the most. I saw him telling his girlfriend afterward and he could barely catch his breath he was so excited.

All of you only think it is great that Dave won because you didn't have to go home with my dissapointed wife (who was holding 50 non winning tickets).  Looks like I'll be on the couch tonight.

Adam

Come to a meeting, they’re fun!

$50!!!  Man don't take her to vegas

Just pat her on the back for giving such a generous donation to the WMAS for christmas. That's very admirable of her.

=) =)  I still don't know what to do with myself!

I don't have a clue if i can/should set this up or if i should maybe donate it to something like Children's Primary if i can get someone like the rotary club to donate the $ for the maintainence from a company.  or maybe i should sell it to someone in the club who would be able to have in place for years to come and get something smaller?

i'm very open to suggestions at this point because i'm still in a little bit of shock!

THANKS THANKS THANKS to WMAS though!  talk about a cheap membership =) =)

haha, it does seem like a shame to give it away...

my "problem" is that i probably won't be in my current house for more than 2.5 years and a minimum of 1.5 years at least.  a tank like this should be in some place where someone can have it set up for 5+ years at a time don't you think??

IMO, you won it fair and square... it's yours for your liking. Gotta say though... with that new 'booti shake' you pulled off, it may be in your best interest to store it until it can be used... it's only too obvious how bad you wanted it. Heck, a year or 2 is all for storage??? That time will fly by!!! BTW Adam, we got $50 worth too(my contribution for the WMAS for an outlet for selling my frags) and I too won nothing in the raffle besides that awesome display of dance fever from nellens... That too me was priceless!!!

But would you be moving across town or out of state? If it's just house to house within the city, I'd say set it up and don't worry about it. Yea it's a pain to move, but it far from impossible. You can move it in one day with a few arms and a bunch of buckets and barely lose a coral in the process.

Just set it up! You can move it when the time comes!

You know, that tank would look hot with some funky plants and fish with prehensile tails!

keep it set it up. with that setup you will have spent less money on the tank than anyone in the club.

where did you learn your moves

Haha,  apparently everyone liked my dance moves quite a bit =)  Perhaps this upcoming year I'll give you all some lessons for frags

with all this talk about lighting and things i'm certainly starting to feel the urge to set it up!!!

I say set it up and enjoy it until you move. I set mine up knowing I would be moving in about two years. I really enjoy it and have learned a lot by having it now. When I move it and set it up again I believe the tank will be better because of what I will have learned first hand.
