Well I've started to battle ick. I have been feeding food with garlic, but I was out of town since wendsday so I wasn't able to check & see how there were doing. Yerstoday that I came home I noticed that my heniochus butterfly had a clody eye. He was eating & acting fine. Today he spent all morning til noon hiding. So he came out, & when I feed the tank he didn't eat anything. His breathing a bit rapidly but not too bad. He not as active as he used to be.
From what I can tell he has ick & clody eyes.
What can I do? Will feeding food with garlic be enough to help him?

Thank you

My tang has only gotten cloudy eye twice. Both times it was major stress conditions. I just fed heavy and it went away within a few days

I'm so sorry to see this and to read that you are going through this. It's sad. If there is anything that can be done at this point I would have to come visit to let you know. Let me know if you would like me to visit by contacting me via phone call or text to 808-345-1049. I'm available all day.

A few words about Garlic:
The major thing about feeding garlic is to find the product that works for your tank and fish. Similar to how there are different pain relievers for different people, not all garlic products work in all situations. Think about pain relievers. If you were taking one and it didn't take away the pain or it caused you to have an upset stomach, would you keep using it? In the same way we should be looking for a Garlic product that works.

How do I know if the Garlic product I am using is working?
Answer: White spots are gone in 1-2 days.

Well it looks like the heniochus can see well with it's cloudy eye. He is getting a bit up by my hippo tang, for some reason.
So I think the best thing to do is give to someone who can actually bring it back to Health.
So if there's anyone who can bring this fish back to health before it dies in my tank, come and get it for free.
