here the tank is when i inherited it from my father.

those darn monti caps always falling over ;) THESE PICS ARE STILL A LITTLE OLD. about a month old, i will upload a new one soon! i've added a bit more stuff and changed the rocks around a little :)

just got ATI bulbs!!!! super excited to put them in!

i will add some more pics tonight before i put the bulbs in, then after so we can see the difference!

Looking great! Have you made any modifications or changed things from how the tank comes standard (besides the bulb upgrade)?

How does your skimmer work for you? I've made some modifications and settings that seem to improve skimming if you're interested. I've not posted them in my build thread yet, but would be happy to share them with you here.

my skimmer works great! I've never had problems with it. i just keep the water level the same and it skims like a boss :) bout 0.5'' of gunk every 3 days.

I wouldn't do that. I find that in the summer I have to run those extra cooling fans.
