So, some of you guys have noticed I have gotten some fancy guppies (two) to acclimate slowly to salt water, now I lost one in the process but I finally got one in and is was going great. No I turned my lights off, came back ten minutes later and noticed my cleaner shrimp (who is at least 5-6 inches) came out and found himslef a snack.... this has never happened but all i see is a big beautliful spotted tail coming out of his mouth wriggling around... hahah and boo hoo

Most of the time Guppys cannot handle the process of acclimating to salt water. They need really slow acclimation 1-2 days and need to be keep with a good temp. And clean water.

Well yeah, I wasn't too worried about losing one during the process because it really wouldn't be a surprise, and the other one was just fine. I have done this before but not having a huge shrimp with them. And I also did acclimate it for 2 and a half days. I did have to keep cleaninng the water.

I don't think the shrimp kill it. Remember that I was really stress out of being in saltwater was probably my weak and the shrimp took a easy meal

Possibly, and the current was a little much, which i thought it would of been fine, but it was ok as long as he was fine and didnt swim directly in front of the pump output. And the guppy seemed fine because I had him in there for almost a day. WHen I said I turned my lights off, that was at the end of the day but dirung the day he seemed fine as long as he didnt swim to the top of the water where the curent was strong. He even ate, but I do think your right about him being weak sice he hasnt been there too long and its not where hes used to and stress.
