caught my wrasse that i want out of my tank.  Want to take him to AD tomorrow morn.  How do i keep him until tomorrow? he is in my 2 ltr fish trap right now.

If it were me I'd put him in a 5g bucket with an air stone and loose fitting lid.  If that isn't possible then either in the sump or in an overflow would be my next two choices.  It depends on if there is a way to get him out of either place w/o too much hassle.   As a "last resort" you could get a plastic container and poke some holes in it (a pen works pretty well) to allow water to flow through it but not let the fish out and then stick that in the tank with the lid on of course.  Maybe someone else has a better idea, but this late you probably won't get too much help... lol.

what if i put him in the net and put him in the tank at the top of the tank so he cant get out?

If it is a big net and you put something over it so he can't jump out and go carpet surfing that would probably work too.  Just position it where there is lower flow so he doesn't get pinched by it.  In theory it is dark and the fish will just go to sleep, but you never know...
