My fish seem to have cloudy eyes that are begining to bulge.  Also, several don't seem to be doing so hot health wise.  What type of treatement should I be giving them (and a fw dip is out since I don't want to tear down the tank to catch them all)?  Anyone near me have something I can treat this with or more experience that can come by and give me some suggestions?  Thanks, nate  3623483
Was that in there yesterday? Casper--WY windier than ?

Nate, try Melafix.  I suggest removing your activated carbon, only dosing every other day rather than every day, and run your skimmer 24x7.  And be ready to replace a lot of water from your skimmer!  Then do a 25% water change after 5-7 days.

Be careful though, it can hurt some corals and your grammarus and mysis and copepod populations!

Good luck!

Ok so its not worth laughing at, but I've been through it a few times and my conclusion is that nothing really works and I decided that patience is a virtue, that I didn't have. I'm not sure of your case but I have found some fish that are strong and they refuse to die or get sick. Some are more difficult than others, and I don't mean species, because I have had some Moorish Idols live for years and others die the next day. The same goes with a lot of other fish.

The melafix might foam over your sump and I would suggest turning off the skimmer. All you would be doing is pulling out the medication.
