I'm not there but I got a call from my wife saying the tank is cloudy and there are red tentical pieces in the tank and can't find my RBTA. I get off work in 3 hours and plan on doing a water change and changing out my carbon. Is this what is refered to as melting or would a coral banded shrimp be capable of ripping apart a RBTA (my wife's theory)?

no actually it split about two weeks ago. so I still have one about 1 to 2 inches big. as for the power head I have a gaurd over mine unless it got pulled in piece by piece through the holes.

I'm kinda nervous to see how bad this really is. I've been gone since 11am and everything looked great when I left.
