Is there a certain brand to use? and is it 100% garlic oil? I went to a health food store and all I could find was gel caps.

Gel Caps are the best. Make sure it is the stinky Garlic Oil and read the complete thread below, taking note that any Garlic product may work but if one does not work within 2 days, it's important to try another
 and
find out if there is anything about the tank that is stressful to the fish and keeping them susceptible to Ich.

I like Seachem Garlic Guard. I've had good results with it.

I used Kent at first, and then bought the seachem. Was happy with both, but I liked the amount I got with seachem, and liked the little dripper that comes with the Kent. Now I just pour the seachem into my Kent bottle. Its really convenient.
