Well I will be replacing my RO system since I have not been to happy with the quality of it.  Was just wondering if anyone has tried the GE Merlin RO system I noticed it is alot more efficient at producing RO water.

I have 100 GPD system but want to be able to hook it up to the fridge and a filter water tap in the sink without having to worry about a tank.

100 GPD should be plenty for your needs. I would recommend Teeing off the output and running the water that goes to the frig and drinking tap through a taste filter. Straight RO water can have kind of a stale taste because there are no minerals in it. The taste filter gives you the spring water taste without adding harmful impurities. The line that feeds your tank should not go through the taste filter and you could add a DI filter to further purify the output though many are happy with straight RO Water. If you are using quite a bit of water at one time you can get a larger storage tank. I have 2- 3 gallon tanks connected to my unit as it also feeds a whole house humidifier connected to our heating system.

100 gpd should be plenty for a tank/frig/and sink but you really should put a tank before the frig and sink. That way you can fill up a few glasses of water without standing there waiting.

something like this

There really is not a RO system that is fast enough to stand around and wait for a glass of water to fill up, in my opinion.  100 gpd membrane works out to 8.88 ounces a minute if my math is correct, and that is if the filter is working the best it can, usually its slower around here because the water is so cold. Do you really want to wait 2 minutes to fill a cup of water to drink?

If you have the 3gal pressure vessel then you wont have to wait at all.
