So I want to trim back my yellow polyps so I can put something else in their place. Questions are, can I just pluck them like mushrooms or if I cut them will they live? I'd like to get them attached to something else how do I do that?

As I had mentioned, It is possible to cut the tops and have them grow back. If i remember right, GARF, Propigates this way sometimes. The best luck is to place A rubble rock near the polyp and let it migrate .  Would it hurt to try and cut one or two??
WHAT KINDA GUM????... Give em 2 sticks.
