should I look for any differences in my corals since I added my carbon reactor?

With less chemicals and phosphates in the water, your corals will be more happy and be more full looking.  How long ago did you add the reactors?  Did you have an issue with p04 before? Cause you might not notice a change if your parameters are good from the get go.

Oh I have had the po4 reactor going for quite a while now, because I had hair algea and now I have the dreaded bryopsis.  Which is a different problem.  But I just added the carbon reactor.  So I hope that all goes well.  I now need to find a way to put some filter socks into my set up.
