I had a tank crash. removed everything that was still alive.I cleaned the tank and rinsed rock. I filled it back up. It has been running for a few days now. The water will not clear up. What else can I do?

Clear up how? Sediment in the water? Yellow water? Bubbles?
 
Filter sock maybe? Carbon? Re-aim powerheads/returns?

could just be the sand you stirred up. a filter sock should help but you dont have a sump yet do you?  you can try putting a filter sock on your canister filter.
