Hey folks,

I was just wondering what kind of anemone would be the best bet for getting a clownfish to host in it.  I had a rose bta in the past and the clownfish didn't seem to like it.  I currently don't have any anemone's or clownfish, but would like to get a percula after introducing the anemone.

A bta should be good for percs. Sometimes tank raised clowns wont host at all.

For a little encouragement, my clowns (tank raised) nenver hosted in my 2 anemones. Finally about a year later he won't leave my anemone. I guess for some it just takes some time.

Our clown fish hosts in our frogspawn.  My daughters clown fishes host in a rbta and my clarki host in a long tenacle anemone.

Well, that's good, since I just bought a nice piece of frogspawn a couple of weeks ago and it seems to be doing well.  Does anyone know where I can get a good deal on an anemone?  It seems like the pet shops charge an arm and a leg for the BTA's.
