I've kept a niger with cleaner shrimp, banded coral shrimp, snails, ect.

My experience was that if you kept the fish fed, they left the inverts alone.

Very cool fish!

I've never had a problem with snails or hermits. Shrimp are iffy.

What fish and inverts do you currently have in this tank? How about Feather Duster worms?
