im sure it will come out. they will move wherever they want, so even if you get it out it wont stay put for long. it will find its spot where it likes.

if you don't like it back there, you can try aiming a powerhead in its general direction and it will more than likely get agitated and move somewhere else.

Leave it alone. It will eventually find a place that it feels secure. They will move until they find a good place for their foot and the right amount of flow and light.

as long as you have sufficient lighting (MH) it should be fine. I haven't fed my BTA for at least 8 months and it is big and happy. I do see that it catches a couple little pieces of the frozen food that I feed once a week. But that is about it.

I didn't know that you don't have to target feed BTA. It is good to know; not that I intend to keep one (too much destruction on their wandering ways).

If you have quality lighting then target feeding is not needed (but I would recommend it if you can). I feed my btas brine, mysis and pellet. I find the pellets are easiest for the anemone to catch. It also gets to eat when I feed the tank for my sps/softies.

I worried about mine when I first got it also. I pulled out my rock till I found it. It seemed happy then I could not find it again. It eventually came out of the crack it was hiding in and now seems to be happy where it is for a while. Three of my four anemones stay put but I have not seen my RBTA for a week or so. I am sure it will come out also. I would not worry too much, but maybe it likes the back of your tank and will stay there. Me, I worry about everything in my tanks if I can't see them.

I purchased a Green BTA about 5 days ago. It immediately went behind a rock. Tonight I noticed it has crawled up the rock and a little toward the front where I can actually see it.
Give it time, it should come around.

From my brief experience every time you stress them the game starts over. Just a thought
