I live in Layton.  Where would I go to get custom cut tempered glass.  I am adding a 70w MH to my Orbit fixture and I need to replace the acrylic splash guard with UV shielded glass.

I faced this same problem when I upgraded my lights to Halides. I ended up buying a cheap Halogen shop light from Home Depot. most of these lights have tempered glass shielding. The one I found cost $10, and the glass was about 5x6 inches.

I`d try Davis Glass. that`s where i go to get custom glass work done but i`m not sure if they have or can cut custom pieces of tempered glass.

It is not too close, but Beehive glass in Salt Lake does custom tempered glass.  They cut and temper it in house.  I paid $21 for 3 8"x8" pieces.  There is a $15 minimum order price.
