I havent done this.., so no one should get mad @ me yet but I was just curious if it would hurt the animal to glue it to a rock or something because I move it to the front and then it gets itself back in the rocks where I cant ever see it

Disclaimer: I have no experience with these.

It is my opinion that it is moving to more favorable conditions for it's survival. I believe you could move it and glue the shell to something but it may be at the animal's expense. In other words I think it is possible to glue it without hurting it ( I don't know if their shell needs to "breathe") but the conditions where you move it may not be conducive to it's survival.

Mike

I agree Mike. Flame scallops will move around to find the spot where they feel comfortable. I had one a while back that disappeared and never was seen again. Most of the info that I have read stated that the will hide in the rocks and out of sight.  IMO I wouldn't glue him.

Please.... Please do not do this..... These have a VERY low survival rate as is.....
I have flying monkeys and I'm not afraid to use them.

180 gallon money pit that I love.....

There are so many things wrong with this, I don't even know where to start.  Why don't you just sell it back to the store, or I'll take it.   Mine hides, but it comes out when it's hungry.  I put phyto in the tank and it's happy again.
