center brace

I am getting a 150g and the center brace on it is broken and I need to fix it I kinda know how to do it but if some of you can post some picks or give there expert info on it that would help. glass or acrylic and what kind of adhisive did you use and where did you get it?

where can you get weld on #3

I didn't have any luck getting acrylic glues to stick to the tank brace.  I tried Weld-on 4 and 16.  What I did was drill small holes through both the acrylic brace and the old old tank brace, then bolted them together using nylon (plastic) nuts and bolts.  It's worked fine so far.

Can you share the secret?

Acrylic bonding to Abs can be done but doesn't offer the best bond due to how the glue works and the two diffrent bonding surfaces, I think for a long turm solution nylon nuts and bolts is the way to go but again this is MO.
