For those of you with shrimp, how often do you find they molt? I've got a really big cleaner shrimp and it molts about every other week. Seems like a lot to me, but what do I know?! How often does yours molt?

I was afraid to ask this but mine does it a ton. It does it at least once every couple of weeks. I read that you should dose Iodine to help it molt, but I don't dose that. I wonder if when I frag corals, if the Iodine does not come all the way off. I run Iodine in my Gryphon to help prevent infection but I always fresh rinse after. I think some Iodine is sneaking in. I say this because he seems to molt an unusual amount.

Scared the hell out of me the first time. It left its skin sitting on a rock and somehow perfect slipped out of it. Its antennas and feet and everything molted at once. Weird stuff. Nightmare-ish stuf.

It will molt to make room for growth, more molting means faster growth.
