Howdy Guys!!
I am new to the board, and after many years dry (no tank) I am jumping back in.
I have little or no exp with sumps. I was wondering if anyone had an opinion on the
Aqeon ProFlex Sumps. I was interested in the largest model or the #4. I am on a tight
budget but I could live with dropping $200 on a prefab sump, that is if it is any good.

Any feedback would be appreciated.  Thanks.

I have one they are good sumps but I won't run the sponge because they just trap everything and create phosphates so i put in the acrylic that comes with it to block off the bottom also I think they kind of rate them for a higher capacity than they really can handle but that's in my opinion I also like allot of water flow to though so maybe that's why I was getting a few micro bubbles and felt it was under sized.

Thanks for the feedback, I will pick one up. That is unless I find a nice used one on the board first.
As to the size ratings ill be pairing it with a 60 gal so it I am hoping it will be adequate.Smile

Yeah it will be great for a tank that size.
