who else has these guys? I have had a "large" one for a while. In my 80 i barely saw him. Now in the 125 he is out and swiming all goofie almost every night. I think they are way cool.

I will just give my warning that your system will flood, bulbs will burn out, and things will take continuous maintenance... get over it.

I had one before. They are cool I got see really big
ones in The Aquarium of the amaricas in New
orleans.

They feed by burrowing and sifting through the SB... #1 your 125 is not as "dirty", I'm assuming and #2 is your SB depth, grain size, etc the same as your SB that was in the 80???

I used to find them washed up on the beach all the time in Florida.

You can try... just remove what he doesn't eat, daily. This is not an absolute guarantee, though... sorry.

i was looking into maybe getting one of these too, as i loved them growing up.  used to see them alot when i was in Cali.  I would also possibley look them up in a zoology book or nature channel and see what they eat.  I know i have a zoology book around here.......somewhere...... lol and i know i was taught about them in college (i just dont remember specifics).  I dont remember what they said they ate, but if i can find the book I'll double check :)
