Does anyone keep a few snails/crabs in your sump to keep things clean, or are you too concerned they'll get into pumps?

I use them both in the fuge. Haven't had much of a problem with the pumps.

About every three months I will vacuum out the sump to get the detritus cleaned out. Every six months on the refugium.
