It's mostly due to changes in the lighting. When you're buying expensive pieces it's best to "photo-acclimate" them by starting them off on the bottom and moving them up where you want them to be over a couple weeks. Every couple days just move it higher and higher until it ends up where you want it. This will allow the coral to slowly adjust to the changes in lighting and keep it's awesome color.

Hey, I agree with what has been said above, it is the same with about every kind of coral out there.  New conditions and what not are going to cause changes in the coral.  More or less it is stress from teh whole process of buying them and traveling with them and the new lighting scheme.  It even happens to my corals that I take from my T-5's in my basement to my T-5's on my main floor, the water chemestry is different and the lighting is different.  So naturally corals brown out, but they will most of teh time color back up if they are given the right conditions and time.

This could be due to the zooxanthellae moving closer to the surface of the corals outside tissue.  Once they get settled into their new environment they will probably migrate back down deeper into the coral tissue.
