ok I bought this tank established. I have never seen any substrate like this before.
Question one has anyone else?
What is it?
Should I change it over or mix it with aragonite sand?
or leave it alone everyone seem ok with it in the tank but it is not as bright white as aragonite

No idea... But I like it. I'd leave it unless it bothers you, then I'd mix it. This is what I imagine ooli sand looking like, but I've never seen it either.

It could be Oolitic but is larger size than what we have here. Utah Oolitic sand and the sands we use in our reef aquariums are made of a mineral called Aragonite. Chemically it is called Calcium Carbonate. This mineral sand provides many benefits for the general health of a reef tank. To determine whether that sand is Calcium Carbonate put a tiny amount of it into some vinegar. Vinegar is slightly acid and will dissolve Calcium Carbonate. It will produce buubles of Carbon Dioxide but could take hours to dissolve, so be patient and let us know how it works.

Its sold at the Aquarium. It's supposed to be natural but its so perfectly round, looks man made.
