So I've been reading tons of posts, tons. I have picked up many acronyms used, but a few are still baffling me. If anyone cares to post some common or not so common abreviations it would be sweet.

I know I should have figured out these by now, but have not SPS & LPS...

Please post your favorites

Cheers

LPS stands for Large Polyp Stony, these are corals like brains, acans, frogspawn, hammers, elegance, torch, dendros, and more.

SPS stands for Small Polyp Stony, these include acroporas, milliporas, birdsnest, stylophora, digitata, montipora, cyphastrea, porites, and simialr corals.
I'll try to find some good pics.

Thanks Steve:

While on topic, I have semi-low light 65W coralife, on my 29 gal. tank. What would be some good hardy, starter corals that are soft. I like the movement / flow that I've seen

That light is fine for soft coral, the coral without stony skeletons, for example:
Mushrooms - Actinodiscus
Leathers - Sinularia, Sarcophyton, Klyxum, Lobophytum, Limnalia
Button Polyps - Zooanthid, Palythoa
Star Polyps - Green, Pink and Brown Star Polyps
Clove/Wood Polyps - Anthellia

This is a quick list.
