anything that is corona discharge and not uv discharge should be ok, more importantly and costly is how you plan on monitoring and controlling ORP, if you are injecting it into your skimmer also make sure to carbon on the air coming out and carbon on the outflow of your skimmer

basically ozone is free radicals which generally is degraded instantly when its injected into water, but any residual that makes it into the air is very dangerous for humans/animals.
This is a short blurb on it... Mainly injecting ozone into a skimmer takes care of the vigorous aeration and using carbon at your outflow protects the marine inhabitants and putting carbon on the skimmer lid where air escapes protects you
Safety Precautions for using Ozone:
Ozonized air should be prevented from escaping into the room; it is advisable to install a carbon filter on your protein skimmer or ozone reactor where ozonized air escapes. Do not let the redox value of the aquarium water exceed 400 mV as harmful substances (commonly in the form of hypochloric and hypobromic acids) can be produced, which could damage sensitive organisms. The aquarium inhabitants should be protected from exposure to free ozone and /or oxidation products. The recommended method to remove any residual free ozone and any free oxidation products is by vigorous aeration followed by filtration through activated carbon. After this treatment the amount of residual ozone should be checked regularly – maximum 0.05mg per liter.

I have been using this one for a few months now. It is the way to go I think. It doesn't take long to raise up the ORP. Maybe a half hour to recover from 300 to 375.
Just make sure to use a controller. I think the best way to go is a neptune controller of some sort since a stand alone orp controller is ~$100. Why not put that towards a Neptune of some sort?

Oh, and if you are going to pull the ozone through the skimmer, dont use the air pump supplied. Just set the unit to max, then attache a tee to the airline from your skimmer and attach the airline from the ozone unit to that. The other fitting on the tee is left open to draw in additional air if the line from the ozone unit is too restrictive (Thanks Eric).

Also make sure your skimmer is safe for ozone use. The skimmers made with cast acrylic are resistant to the effects of ozone where as the extruded acrylic bodies are not. It is also important to point out that the use of ozone via a skimmer actually is not the most efficient method for adding ozone to your tank. It inhibits the skimming process because it oxidizes organics that the skimmer is supposed to remove BEFORE they are oxidized. Ozone addition via a pressurized ozone reactor allows you to get the maximum benefit from ozone by saturating the small volume of water inside the reactor with ozone. By doing this, the residual ozone does not enter into the sump or the aquarium although it still will need to pass through a small carbon chamber after the reactor. There are many DIY plans for ozone reactors, you can use the pricey MTC setup as a reference when building one. http://www.marinetechnical.com/page6.html

technically you should be able to duplicate that my chaining two phosban reactors together. Injecting ozone into the first and running in through carbon in the second right?

The Vita-Shower unit kicks out up to 100 mg/hour and can produce as little as 15 mg/hour.

Brandon, I think ozone is still the best place for your skimmer, and I believe in another thread (I'll try to find it for you) Eric also said he recommends running your ozone through your skimmer.
Here's that link for you Brandon:
