Very Nice,

What's the name of the acro? It looks like the one I bought about 4 weeks ago and I have forgotten the name of it.

Is it Acropora gemmifera ?  Or Acropora monticulosa?

Could be milli, but the polyps seem more long and "hairy" I would say, while polyps retracted, it looks monti or milli.

The bases of each stalk are kinda brandy whine(red/purple) with lighter ends and kinda bluish tips. The polyps are lighter, but about the same color as the stalks with greenish tips... color's bound to change, though. I kinda figured milli, too.

How do you tell the difference between A. millipora and A. monticulosa?  Visually, the look the same to me.  Doesn't really matter anyway, it's a great looking piece and will, I'm sure, grow out nicely!

[edit:  I would call it a millipora, but only because I'd never seen a monticulosa until just now searching it on google )
