So another newbie question. Tank up and going for a couple months now. I've gone through various stages of algae blooms, but it was mostly all gone. Couple days ago I upped my lighting time, because I'm starting to add corals.

Today I noticed all my rock is starting to go a shade of green. I do have some coralline spots starting, but not a ton.

Am I headed for a bad algae outbreak?

A green shade on the rocks is pretty normal.
Does it look like this?

Edit:  BTW it isn't something to worry about Smile

2nd Edit:  A lot of it will turn to coraline over the next several months.  YAY!  Signs of a happy tank. Star  When are we gonna see full tank pics?

well all right. It's not as heavy and bright as the picture, but similar.

I'll post pics of a full tank when it actually somewhat "full" - looking forward to frag fest. My wife mocks how much time I spend looking at bare rocks.

It is amazing the things you will find by staring at bare rocks.
