I am selling my 110 gallon aquarium and getting a nano tank instead. In my 110 gallon, I have a Blue sponge which I would like to keep for my nano tank. My question is: How long should a nano tank be up and running before I add my Sponge?

Move as much sand and rock from your 110. Use water from your 110 to keep as much gunk in the water as possible since that is what feeds them. Then move the sponge in water with out ever letting it hit air. After all of that then pray a lot. In my experiance it wont last after a move.
