Topic: Sweet ORA Frags! Posted: February 09 2008 at 1:17pm |
Just picked up some of ORA's frags. A couple of them were just released. I'm really impressed with the health and color of there frags.
Hawkin's Echinta - this one is my favorite out of all of them
Phil's Granulosa
Pearlberry Acro - Not sure on the species of this one. Any ideas?
Australian Delicate - starting to color up
Dustin's Deepwater - A. Simplex

I picked them up from a couple of different places. Aquatic Dreams brought in the Echinata, Australian Delicate and the Pearlberry for me. Ryan's a great guy to deal with. There was one more Pearlberry and a couple of Dustin's Deepwater's yesterday, but he was only able to get one Hawkin's Echinata. I got Phil's Granulosa, Dustin's Deepwater and the Yellow Stinger from Youreef.com. The Pink Lemonade, and A. Ramberli came from Ming and Atlantis. The Pink Lemonade was expensive! A 100 bucks for a small frag. Hope it grows fast.

Those are SOOOO SWEET! I definately Need to make a trip to see you! I need all those ORAs and the Pink Lemonade for sure. I am running out of real estate fast. I may have to start evicting corals (or better yet, get the 180 going)!
Great pics of some stunning pieces! I hope they grow fast!

That is so nice Jared. I've been salivating over these new ORA frags for months (just ask Dave,LOL). Too bad Aquatic dreams is too far away.
The pearlberry is too small to tell; but it might be one of those A.plana/latistella AKA crayola table.

The frags are doing great. Still have the same color as they did when they came in. The pink lemonade frag took a little sting, but it is recovering well. They are still in my quarantine tank so they haven't grown too much yet. I'll post some more pictures soon.
