I don't know why; but I usually just use one of the free image upload site. That way you are not restricted in file size. My favorite at the moment is http://www.allyoucanupload.com

I can't view the photobucket pics from work.  All I get is the dreaded red "X". When I log on at home, I can see the photos.
However, if they are uploaded to this site, the system at work allows them to be displayed.

Me too. All the pictures uploaded using a third party are blocked when I am at work (where I do almost all of my utahreefs.com browsing).

I've started using third parties lately because it is so easy. Posting directy to the site is so time consuming that having to do it that way would keep me from posting pics at all.

Posting pictures with the new update is a little easier, but you still have to resize the picture.

Another advantage to the third party photos is size/detail. The the forums restriction on size = less detail in the pic.
