These things have been growing pretty rapidly in the sump of my tank on the glass and I have noticed a few of them have started to pop up on the glass in my main tank. They are not baby feather dusters because the cone on the end does not retract when touched. My best guess is spirorbid worms. This is a close up of one of the many in my tank. Thanks for the help.
