I need to get an anemone out of my tank but I'm afraid of damaging it. a month ago I got really crazy put a latex glove on and tried for 30 - 40 minutes to pull up on it ever so gently so that it would let go but he didn't and then he moved closer to my acros because I made him angry(I wonder why?Big%20smile). What is the best method to get him out? I can't just take him out with any of my rock because where he is at is like a puzzle and they all depend on each other and are epoxied in. Thanks.

I have heard that you can take an ice cube down by its foot and rub on it untill it lets loose, but I have never used that method. I just point a powerhead at it to move it where you want it to go. If mine gets too close to the acros, I zap it with a shot of joes juice. Clownfish doesnt like me much when I do that.

If you can coax him onto the glass you can use an old credit card to slide under his foot and get him loose, or so I've heard.

Perhaps I would be better at basket weaving. . . at least it would be cheaper!

I've used the credit card trick successfully on live rock also. Be patient and slowly try to do it little by little.
