I have had a great time with this hobby for the past 2 years but I think I need to part from it for some time. Life is too busy with school and work... I was wondering what the best way is to go about selling my tank and equipment. Do I sell it all together, part it out, or a mixture of the two. I have a 90 gallon reef tank and a lot of equipment. I also want to thank all of you who have helped me over the past 2 years, I couldn't have had such a great time without your help. I'm sure I'll be back in no time.

For the purposes of this thread I won't be posting any pics, but some of the stuff includes:
Hardware:
90 gallon AGA tank and stand
Coralife skimmer
2x 150w metal halide lighting w/extra bulb
1 250w metal halide ballast and fixture
48" compact lights
40 gallon refugium
Turbo twist UV sterilizer
Carbon Reactor
2 koralia power heads
2 heaters
Various pumps and accessories

Livestock:
~120 lbs of live rock
Live sand
CUC
Medium Naso Tang
Yellow Tang
5 RBTA's
Picasso clown
Melanarus wrasse
Six line wrasse
Coral beauty (reef safe)
Mandarin dragonet
5 various damsels
Sand sifting starfish
Chocolate banded starfish?

Corals:
frogspawn
wall hammer
red lobo
5 or 6 colonies of different zoos
lots of green fuzzy mushrooms
various other mushrooms and green palys

I am probably forgetting a lot of stuff but you get the idea. Thanks for your advice.

I'm sorry to see you go. Don't be gone for to long. I would try together but I've always made the most parting. While it takes a little while longer its not that bad.

Any case if you do post I would love the Mandarin, wall hammer and any misc pumps or test equipment.

I rarely see full setups sell, so IMO parting out normally works out best. I would start with the coral then rock then fish. After that sell equiptment. You can list it all at once and just put names next to things until you can catch or get rid of that particular thing.

I would also be interested in the wall hammer and the red lobo:) Oh and the zoos depending on what they are:)

My neighbor is looking for a nice 90g.  He's new to saltwater, so he may be interested in a lot if the price was right.  Keep us in mind, regardless of whether you sell together or part out.  We'd like to see pics and prices.

Or you can sell your livestock and rock if you think you would ever get back in the hobby again.
