Seems I heard somewhere, that there could be an infection issue from having an unclean puncture wound.
Certainly couldn't hurt to get medical advice...may some antibiotic.

Speaking from experience it did not change my point of view from owning this beautiful fish. I just pay a little more attention to what i am doing.
