Dion runs the Vega too but is moving into a new house this weekend and setting up a new tank. I will be running the Vega but it is hanging over the spot where the tank will be when it gets back from the glass shop this week.

I do run vegas and with the new tank I will be adding 2 hydro's into the mix.

Best quality in the valley! He is one sexy bald guy, even with out a finger!(MAC)

Thanks guys for the responses. I have been 2 Vegas on my 72 bow since February (6 months). Seems as I'm just getting to the point where things are really taking off. Corals are coloring up and encrusting. I'm just not quite sure how much light I can go without bleaching.

I tried a Vega and became very frustrated with it......... My disclaimer is it was my first led and maybe I was not as patient as I should have been , then I learned that I had a few other issues not related to lights themselves. I think I would give them a second chance but I went back to my trusted T-5's. As far as the levels and settings not sure I ever got it right but I do know higher setting will cook SPS very fast. Not sure if any of this helped but would like to see your progress pictures.

I will never go back to MHs or T5s after using Vegas. My tanks is taking off with my Veges I have right now. I have only 3 on a 225g

I love my vegas. Ive been told several times by other hobysts and 2 stores that you can not grow Coraline with leds. I have no problems what so ever. I run 3 vegas and 2 hydros on my 234g. Love every bit of them. It takes patience and time to get them dialed in. Worth every bit of patience I had ;)

I have been running 2 Vegas since February. I'll never get rid if them! Growing coral like crazy and tons of Coraline!

Really people actually say that?! I've ran Vegas from the day they came out and my tank has TOO MUCH Coraline. I'd like some of these magical lights that don't grow it well actually.
