my tank evaporates 5gallons every 7 days. will this pump have enough output to keep up evaporation? since It only comes on for 3 minutes a day

There on sale right now at marine depot. Also the jbj only runs for 3 minutes at a time but will come on every time the float switch is low. I had one with the Tom's aqua lifter on my 125 and never had a problem.

The jbj has a screw inside that can be adjusted to allow it to run longer than 3 minutes. It can run upto 12 minutes. If it doesn't pump enough in that time to reset the float switches then it will error and stop running. There are videos on YouTube. Krazie

I never found how to adjust from 3 minutes to 12, but surprisingly I didn't have to, it has been keeping up just fine turning on a few times a day I just have the one sensor hooked up so whenever it gets low it comes on for even less than the 3 minutes at a time
